Although Xiaomi Redmi 5 is Much Better within this range, but it has some Pros & Cons which we will discuss in this post below.

Introduction : The Xiaomi Redmi 5 is a cut-down variant of the Redmi 5A. The device although looks similar but lacks firepower. On the front, the smartphone sports a 5.7-inch HD IPS display which does its job decently. However, the phone suffers from legibility issues when placed under bright sunlight. It will be available for purchase from the online retailer, Mi.com, Mi Homes and other partner offline channels.
Price : The Xiaomi Redmi 5 is priced at Rs 7,800 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant. The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant of the Redmi 5 is priced at Rs 8800.
Performance and Battery : Under the hood, the smartphone runs a 1.8GHz quad-core Snapdragon 450 chipset which along with 2/3GB of RAM which ensures smooth sailing even while working on multiple apps simultaneously or playing games. The smartphone is backed by a 3300mAh battery and Xiaomi promises up to 12 days of standby time.
Storage and Camera : The internal storage in this device has a capacity of 16GB/32GB that can be expanded up to a massive 128GB by inserting a microSD card. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing unit. While the rear camera along with an LED flash can be used for low-light conditions, the front-facing shooter is ideal for video calls and selfies. The rear camera is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps and 720p videos at 30fps.
Battery and Connectivity : The Xiaomi Redmi 5 extracts all its required fuel from a massive 3,300mAh Li-ion battery for a decent period of battery backup. The smartphone runs on MIUI9 on top of Android 7.1 Nougat. For connectivity, the Redmi 5 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and 4G LTE.
